Boys & Girls club of Rosarito

On October 29, and then again on November 8, The Home Depot of Rosarito donated over $130,000.00dlls worth of merchandise to the Boys & Girls Club of Rosarito! The Home Depot is a socially responsable company that has set an example to follow!  As you may know, the Boys & Girls Club of Rosarito (Club de Ninos y Ninas de Rosarito, A.C.) is in its construction stage.  The current government of Rosarito donated over 1 hectare of land; volunteer Architects and Engineers have donated the design; with another fundraiser they were able to compact and level the land which is now ready to be built!

The CLUB will host over 600 boys and girls per day. They will have access to English classes, computers, music, arts and all types of sports. As well as a greenhouse with the endimic flora of Baja California.  All for only $20dlls per year/child! The construction has a cost of 1.2 million dlls; and annual operations will run $300,000dlls per year.
